EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with 17 (instead of 16 as mentioned in Coigny No 20 copy B) full-page proofs of the fish engravings by Audinet, all HAND COLOURED : chub, trout, grayling, salmon, pike, carp, bream, tench, pearch, eel, barbel, gudgeon, bleak, roach, dace, loach, bull-head.

Presentation inscription pasted on innerside frontpaper to the Earl Of Marlborough with coat of arms Domine Dirige Nos, contents clean, original leather binding unevenly darkened and attractively rubbed, old reback. Spine has remnants of a giltlettered label and 4 fishes. Tight hinges. A handsome copy. Coigney, Izaak Walton, 1653-1987, 1989.
